Index on Censorship publishes 'Smashed Hits 2.0'
Index on Censorship, Britain's leading organisation promoting freedom of expression,
will publish a special theme issue on music censorship – 'Smashed Hits 2.0' – on 8 September.
The issue is produced in collaboration with Freemuse.

Freemuse receives grant from The Sigrid Rausing Trust
The Sigrid Rausing Trust has awarded a grant of £50,000 for the next year to the work of Freemuse.
The grant comes at a crucial time for Freemuse, says Marie Korpe, Freemuse Executive Director.

'Listen to the banned' CD is 'Top of the World'
Songlines, the UK-based world music magazine, has nominated the Freemuse CD 'Top of the World'.
The CD was released in UK this week and continues to be a favorite amongst European broadcasters.
